The Fleur de Lis — French for “flower of the lily” — is a traditional Catholic symbol for the Blessed Mother and for the Holy Trinity.

The center of this rosary is a fleur de lis, cast from a well-worn antique original. The images of the Miraculous Medal are discernible on front and back. The flared ends of the crucifix are reminiscent of fleurs de lis. Both pieces are solid bronze.

The Pater beads are disks of Mother of Pearl, handmade and pleasantly irregular. Alongside the Paters are ribbed beads of solid brass.

The Aves are amethyst. These stone beads are a slightly smaller 6mm size, yet — thanks to the way they’re spaced — we still find it easy to distinguish one from another by touch.

Separating the prayer beads are small multicolored beads of Japanese matte glass.

The various connecting rings are all solid bronze. The rosary is strung on premium quality Soft Flex jewelers’ cable composed of 49 strands of steel encased in nylon. Each end is double-crimped for security.
