The olive wood beads of this rosary are hand-carved in Bethlehem, Palestine — birthplace of Jesus, the Prince of Peace.

The wood from which the beads are made is pruned from the local olive groves — olive branches themselves are a symbol of peace.

The cross of the rosary, and the Ave Maria center, are both solid bronze, cast from antique originals.

The olive wood Paters and Aves are separated by angular beads of matte glass in variegated browns.

At the ends of the strands are beads of solid brass. All the connecting rings are solid bronze.

The rosary is strung on premium quality Soft Flex jewelers’ cable composed of 49 strands of steel encased in nylon, with a test strength of 26 pounds. Each end is double-crimped for security.
